Sensex ends flat, Nifty holds 11,700; Indiabulls Housing up 4%.

It was flat close on May 3 after benchmark indices gave all its intraday gains in the final hour of trading.
At close, the Sensex was down 18.17 points at 38963.26, while Nifty was down 12.50 points at 11712.30. About 1027 shares have advanced, 1462 shares declined, and 190 shares are unchanged. 
Indiabulls Housing, NTPC, Yes Bank, Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank were top gainers on the Nifty, while losers include TCS, Britannia Industries, Tech Mahindra, Adani Ports and HUL.
Among sectors, FMCG, IT, pharma and metal ended in red, while some buying seen in the auto, bank, energy and infra.
HEADLINES OF THE DAY
HSIL Q4: Net profit up 59.7% at Rs 38.2 crore versus Rs 23.9 crore, revenue up 22.4% at Rs 808.9 crore versus Rs 660.8 crore ,YoY.
Century Textiles Q4: Net profit at Rs 227.6 crore against Rs 108.7 crore, revenue down 4.4% at Rs 938.7 crore versus Rs 982 crore, YoY.
Godrej Consumer Products Q4: Godrej Consumer Products has reported 51 percent jump in its Q4FY19 net profit at Rs 935.2 crore against Rs 617.19 crore in a year ago period.
PSU Bank stocks were trading in the green today, up 1.35 percent on Nifty. All the constituent stocks are trading in the positive, with Bank of Baroda being the biggest winner, up 2.93 percent on Nifty.
The crucial resistance for Nifty spot is now seen at 10780 and above this 10960 Support for the immediate term is now placed at 10520 next support will be 10360.
