Benchmark indices ended marginally lower on the F&O Expiry day with Nifty closing below 10,800 level.
The Sensex was down 37.99 points at 35867.44, while Nifty was down 8.90 points at 10797.80. About 1463 shares have advanced, 1005 shares declined, and 153 shares are unchanged.
Vedanta, Coal India, BPCL, GAIL and IOC were the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers include TCS, Eicher Motors, Maruti Suzuki, UltraTech Cement and Hero Motocorp.
Among sectors, IT and auto witnessed some selling pressure, while buying seen in the FMCG, PSU bank, metal, pharma, energy and infra.

REC announces interim dividend: The board of directors of REC in its meeting held on February 28 approved declaration and payment of interim dividend at Rs 11 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the financial year 2018-19. The said interim dividend will be paid/dispatched on March 19, 2019.
HEG buyback: The company’s buyback offer is going to open on March 8 and will close on March 22.

Benchmark indices ended lower as they remained volatile throughout the day amid tension on LoC.
At close, the Sensex was down 68.28 points at 35905.43, while Nifty was down 28.60 points at 10806.70. About 1141 shares have advanced, 1359 shares declined, and 170 shares are unchanged. 
Bajaj Auto, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, L&T, TCS, UltraTech Cement and UPL were among top gainers on the indices, while losers were Tata Motors, Vedanta, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HUL, NTPC, Bharti Infratel, Wipro and Titan Company.
Among sectors, selling was seen in the IT, metal, FMCG and bank space, while buying seen in the auto, infra and pharma space.

Indian indices registered a sharp recovery on Tuesday after it slipped in the morning trade on the back of Indian Air Force (IAF) strike early morning in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The Sensex was down 239.67 points at 35973.71, while Nifty was down 44.80 points at 10835.30. About 930 shares have advanced, 1556 shares declined, and 144 shares are unchanged. 
Top gainers include Zee Entertainment, Tata Motors, TCS, Coal India and IOC, while losers were Indiabulls Housing, HDFC, ICICI Bank, HCL Tech and Infosys.
Among the sectors, PSU bank, energy, infra, IT and FMCG witnessed selling pressure, while some buying was seen in the auto, metal and pharma space.

Bulls took the control on the Dalal Street on Monday with the Nifty and Sensex finished nearly 1 percent higher.

The Sensex was up 341.90 points at 36213.38, while Nifty was up 88.40 points at 10,880.10. About 1515 shares have advanced, 1072 shares declined, and 147 shares are unchanged. 
TCS, Grasim Industries, Yes Bank, Infosys and UltraTech Cement were among top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Adani Ports, Bharti Infratel, BPCL, HPCL and Zee Entertainment.
Among the sectors, except infra, energy and PSU banks all other sectoral indices ended in green led by IT index (up 2%) followed by auto, pharma, metal and FMCG.

Sensex, Nifty end a rangebound session flat; metal stocks outperform.




Benchmark indices ended flat on Friday after traded in narrow range throughout the day.
The Sensex was down 26.87 points at 35871.48, while Nifty was up 1.80 points at 10791.70. 
About 1602 shares have advanced, 906 shares declined, and 148 shares are unchanged. 
IOC, HPCL, JSW Steel, Vedanta and Yes Bank were the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers include Kotak Mahindra Bank, GAIL, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries and Cipla.
Among the sectors, except energy and bank all other sectoral indices ended in green.

Benchmark indices closed on positive note with Nifty finished around 10,800 level helped by buying in select pharma, metal and PSU banking names. The Sensex was up 142.09 points at 35898.35, while Nifty was up 54.40 points at 10789.90. About 1555 shares have advanced, 971 shares declined, and 146 shares are unchanged. Bears dragged the Nifty below 10,600 during last hour trading but managed to close just above the 10,600 level.
At the end, Sensex was down 145.83 points at 35352.61, while Nifty was down 36.60 points at 10604.40. About 1360 shares have advanced, 1169 shares declined, and 122 shares are unchanged.
Wipro, TCS, IndusInd Bank, NTPC and Infosys were the top losers on the Nifty while top gainers include Vedanta, Grasim Industries, BPCL, Zee Entertainment, and JSW Steel.

Equities have ended the session on a flat note, with the Nifty closing above 10,900-mark. 
Barring automobiles, weakness was visible among all sectoral indices, with pain visible among energy, consumption, infrastructure, and metals space. The midcap index fell nearly a percent. 
At the close of market hours, the Sensex was up 34.07 points or 0.09% at 36616.81, and the Nifty up 22.10 points or 0.20% at 10934.40. The market breadth was negative as 852 shares advanced, against a decline of 1679 shares, while 146 shares were unchanged.
Hero MotoCorp, IndusInd Bank, Zee Entertainment and Titan were the top gainers, while Tata Motors, Coal India, and Tata Steel lost the most.
