Indian Indices:
Benchmark indices continued to reel under selling pressure with the Sensex falling 465.63 points or 1.29 percent to 35,510 on the back of crude oil prices hitting multi-year highs and rupee touching record lows.
The 50-share NSE Nifty slipped 140.80 points or 1.30 percent to 10,717.50. About 2.5 shares declined for every share rising on the BSE.
All sectoral indices traded in the red barring metals which have been rising for last couple of sessions due to rising commodity prices in international markets.
Nifty Bank, Auto, Financial Service, IT and Realty indices were down more than 1 percent.
Global Market:
• Asian markets: Asian markets are lower today as Japanese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Nikkei 225 is off 0.23% while the Hang Seng is down 1.62%. The Shanghai Composite is not trading.
• US Markets: Dow rises nearly 200 points after the US and Canada strike a deal to replace NAFTA.
• European markets: European markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The FTSE 100 gained 0.48% and the CAC 40 rose 0.43%. The DAX lost 0.42%.

• IL&FS crisis rattles MFs; cash plans worst hit with Rs 70,000 cr outflows in Sept.
• Dinesh Engineers withdraws IPO on weak equity market conditions.
Trend in FII flows:- The FIIs were Net Value of Rs -1550.04 cash segment while the DIIs were Net Value of 1402.47 per the provisional figures.
