INDIAN BENCHMARKS are likely to start the session on a cautious note as the global cues look mixed with SGX Nifty trading 15 points higher.

Trend in FII flows:   The FIIs were net  sellers of  Rs -1043.84 Cr in the cash segment on Monday while the DIIs were net buyers of  Rs 601.72 Cr, as per the provisional figures released by the NSE.

Nifty still below 7950, Sensex sluggish; Sun Pharma down 1%

Nifty Futures Tips

The market is very sluggish ahead of Q2 gross domestic product data to be announced today. The Sensex is up 0.80 points at 26129.00 and the Nifty is down 7.20 points at 7935.50. About 1396 shares have advanced, 724 shares declined, and 156 shares are unchanged.

Maruti, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto and L&T are top gainers while Sun Pharma, HDFC, Bharti Airtel, ONGC and GAIL are major losers in the Sensex.

Oil prices are heading for declines of as much as 10 percent this month as optimistic assessments that the overhang in the market would ease have proved wrong.

FIIs net buyers of Rs 3,529 cr in F&O on 27 Nov

The foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers to the tune of Rs 3,528.79 crore in the futures and options segment on 27 November, 2015.

According to data available from the NSE website, the FIIs net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 301.85 crore, while FIIs bought index options worth Rs 2,734.15 crore.

On the other side, the FIIs bought stock futures to the tune of Rs 349.21 crore, and were net buyers of stock options worth Rs 143.56 crore.

In the cash segment, the FIIs were net sellers of stocks worth Rs 519.25 crore. Their gross purchases totalled Rs 2,676.99 crore, while gross sales amounted to Rs 3,196.24 crore, as per the BSE website.

INDIAN BENCHMARKS: SENSEX ENDS 169 POINTS HIGHER ON GST HOPES, NIFTY NEAR 7950

The domestic equity market traded with smart gains on Friday bucking the weak trend seen in other Asian and European markets. The possibility of a breakthrough on the GST bill made investor sentiments positive at the start of the December F&O series. 

The S&P BSE Sensex ended the day 169 points, or 0.65 per cent, higher at 26,128 while the 50-stock barometer Nifty50 closed at 7,942, up 59 points or 0.75 per cent. The benchmark indices ended the week higher with the BSE Sensex climbing a per cent and Nifty50 1.10 per cent. Hindalco and SBI were the top gainers on the BSE benchmark.

Leading microfinance firm, SKS Microfinance has said that it has gone for 1% reduction in the interest rate charged to borrowers from 20.75% to 19.75% with effect from December 7, 2015, for all future disbursals.
'With this, the company becomes the first micro finance institution to charge a sub-20% interest rate on its core Income Generating Loans ( IGL) which are unsecured micro loans,”

Ashok Leyland bags order from Cote DIvoire; stk up
Shares of Ashok Leyland rose over 3%, touching to Rs97.5, after the company said it has signed a contract with the government of Cote D'Ivoire for supply of 3,600 vehicles worth $200 million.

Welpsun Corp jumps on bagging order for onshore project
Welspun Corp gained nearly 13%, touching to Rs110.25, after the company said it has won an order for supply of @ 216 K MTs line pipes for an onshore project in Americas.
With the addition of this order, current order hook of the company has crossed @ 1040 K MTs worth Rs6,400 crore.

Fortis Healthcare to acquire Religare Health Trust for Rs100 cr
Fortis Healthcare’s step down subsidiaries-Stellant Capital Advisory Services has entered into a share purchase agreement ( SPA) with RGAM investment advisors and other shareholders to acquire 100% equity stake in Religare Health Trust Trustee Manager (a company incorporated in Singapore) at consideration of $ 14.9 million (or Rs100crore).

CRISIL revises EID Parry India's credit rating
Chennai-based EID Parry India said that the credit rating agency, CRISIL, has downgraded its credit rating for long term bank facilities and debt programmes to 'CRISIL A+/Stable' from 'CRISIL AA-/Stable'.

INDIAN BENCHMARKS The Indian equity benchmarks may open marginally in the red on Friday amidst weakness in fellow Asian equities as a worsening slowdown in China sours the appetite for risky assets.  SGX Nifty is trading 14.00 points lower.

Asian shares fell and the dollar held near an 8-1/2-month peak on Friday, while the euro hovered around seven-month lows on expectations of additional stimulus from the European Central Bank next week.US financial markets were closed on Thursday for the Thanksgiving Day holiday.European shares hit three-month highs on Thursday, rising in thin trade as expectations grew for aggressive European Central Bank (ECB) action next week.

INDIAN BENCHMARKS: SENSEX END DOWN 43 POINTS,NIFTY HOLDS 7800 LEVEL

The domestic equity market seesawed between gains and losses amid aimless trading throughout Tuesday. Lack of triggers and November series F&O expiry due on Thursday meant investors shied away from initiating fresh positions on the benchmarks. 

The S&P BSE Sensex ended with losses of 43 points, or 0.17 per cent, at 25,775 while the 50-stock barometer Nifty50 closed at 7,831, down 17 points, or 0.22 per cent. Maruti Suzuki and Bajaj Auto were the top losers on the BSE benchmark.

HC approves Aditya Birla Chem merger with Grasim Inds
Aditya Birla Chemicals (ABCIL) said that it has received approval from Hon’ble High Court of Jharkhand for merging the company with Grasim Industries.
Aditya Birla Chemicals has now announced that the Scheme of Amalgamation of Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) Ltd. with Grasim Industries Ltd. has been sanctioned by the Hon’ble High Court of Jharkhand at Ranchi on November 23, 2015,” the company said
The two companies of Aditya Birla Group are being merged in order to consolidate similar businesses under one roof.

Mankind Pharma launches diabetes drug 'Dynaglipt'
Mankind Pharma has launched an anti-diabetic product 'Dynaglipt' targeting the middle class and rural diabetic patients. The product, which has been approved by Drug Controller General of India, is priced at nearly Rs 600 for 30 days therapy to a patient. Other gliptin-based diabetes medicines cost between between Rs1,000-1,500 for 30 days therapy.

Titan partners with HP to offer smart watches

Federal Bank trims base rate to 9.63% p.a.
Private-sector lender, Federal Bank said that it has reduced the base rate of the bank to 9.63% per annum effective from December 01, 2015.

Bank of India to raise Rs264.12 cr by selling shares to LIC
Bank of India (BOI) said it will raise capital by allotting two crore equity shares to LIC at a price of Rs264.12 crore.
The bank will hold its Extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders on December 1, to issue and allot these many shares to LIC.

INDIAN BENCHMARKS are tipped to extend Monday’s losses and open lower today tracking a bearish global trend while a continued exodus of foreign investors amid concerns that the BJP’s loss in Bihar may crimp its ability to push through key reforms such as GST to bolster Asia’s third biggest economy, may also sour sentiment at Dalal Street.
                                                                      
SGX Nifty is trading 32.50 points lower.
Volatility may remain high at the domestic bourses ahead of the expiry of the November Futures & Options ( F&O) contracts on Thursday, while caution ahead of the start of the Winter Session of Parliament from Thursday may also weigh on the Sensex. Shares of PSU banks may see some positive trade after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley vowed measures to relieve stress of state-run lenders that are battling high NPAs. Indian stocks edged lower on Monday, swinging between minor gains and losses for most of the session as sentiment turned cautious ahead of the expiry of derivative contracts in a holiday-shortened week. The S&P BSE Sensex and CNX Nifty ended 0.19% and 0.09% lower each. On Monday (November 23, 2015) Snapping a two-day run of gains, the 30-share Sensex fell by 49.15 points or by 0.19% to end at 25,819.34 while the NSE Nifty closed at 7,849.25, down by 7.3 points or by 0.09.

INDIAN BENCHMARKS: NIFTY BELOW 7850,SENSEX END DOWN 79 POINTS

The domestic equity market traded range bound through the day, as investors remained cautious ahead of the expiry of October series F&O contracts. The BSE Sensex seesawed between gains and losses before closing 49 points, or 0.2 per cent, lower at 25,819. 

The 50-stock barometer Nifty50 ended with losses of 7 points, or 0.09 per cent, at 7,849. Hindalco and Vedanta were the top losers on the BSE benchmark, down 4 per cent each on the BSE's move to exclude the scripts from its benchmark index with effect from December 21.
